Weather Rating Summary for Dec 27th, 2024

I am testing a lot of things including this blog. I am hoping to highlight the best weather in the country, as well as what to do if you’re lucky enough to be there. For this test post, perfect weather is where you would expect it this time of year, from the desert of southern California east to Texas. Several places in the top ten tomorrow are right on the border of Mexico. What a great time to be visiting some of our great desert national parks including Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and Big Bend National Park.

Of note are ratings of 7/10 as far north as Montana. While not perfect with highs in the mid 40s, bright blue skies and no chance of rain/snow make for an unusually good winter day for Big Sky country.
